The original Dune prequel tells the story of how the Brotherhood of Rossak evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valya Harkonnen using the voice is taken from an incident called “Mentats from Dune.” The three books intertwine the evolution of the Brotherhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Druids. It’s pretty crazy to me how many people are complaining about this series after a decent pilot.
The quality was good
I’d give the first episode a 7.6. It wasn’t a masterpiece, but it certainly wasn’t crap like many of these stupid reviews. NO, it’s not like Sex and the City.
Stop judging the show so extreme after one episode
And YES, the Benne Ghesserit’s entire mission is to manipulate bloodlines in politics. It’s written in both the movies and the books, so what are you talking about, you who give 1-5 stars?! Let’s get a few more episodes out first, damn it!
