March 2025 Fishing Report for Santa Rosa Beach

We are well off into our 2nd full week of Spring Break 2025 fishing. The redfish bite in the bay has been great, some of the best we have seen in recent years. We have been catching them on all of the bridges, docks and flats. Live shrimp and pogies have been working very well for us. The speckled trout bite has picked up as well and will only get better as the water warms up.
The fishing off the beach has been good this past week. We are seeing more and more pompano and a few big bull reds. The pompano and smaller reds are biting good on shrimp and cut mullet has been the ticket for the larger bull reds. Spanish mackerel have showed up around the passes and along the beach, they are being caught mostly trolling spoons. We haven’t had a chance to get out offshore in the gulf the last week due to weather but hearing good reports on mingo snapper as well as trigger fish. If you are staying along highway 30a in one of the beach towns like seaside, Seagrove, rosemary beach, blue mountain, seacrest, Grayton or Santa Rosa beach we are located just minutes away! We can also accommodate larger groups this year so give us a call and get on the books!
